This Indian silver bracelet is a traditional design that collectors of Indian jewelry will find very familiar. This particular example demonstrates superb fabrication and chainwork, and may have been purchased when Carolyn Benesh was on a trip around the world, beginning in India. She often wore this intricate bracelet; it was a frequent guest on her wrist, worn as the accent piece to a simple dress. The most delightful element of this piece is the clasp; the top button is actually a screw, which is removed so that the bracelet can be opened.
