Having created hand-dyed clothing for over fifty years, Lori Bacigalupi of Kiss of the Wolf finds pleasure in bold attractive colors with simple contrasting designs. Her clothes are comfortable and stylish, an important combination. Many of her patterns are loose and drape languorously across the shoulders. Inspiration comes from traveling nomad cultures, and design elements, such as burnous-like collars and poncho-shaped dresses, are made with a clear eye towards the wearer’s comfort.
