The late Nancy Worden was one of the many stars in the Northwest, with her jewelry strong in message and construction. This small brooch is an exception, being a more demure, understated piece. Carolyn and Robert were both longtime friends with this talented and opinionated woman. When Nancy was battling ALS, she would come down to San Diego for an experimental treatment, and she and Carolyn would often meet for lunch during these difficult voyages. Both Nancy and Carolyn were dealing with their own health challenges in 2020, and they were a source of support and understanding for each other.
