This shell bracelet is made from a variety of marine shells and debris from the beach, cemented together and bound by leather. It still smells slightly of the sea, and is an example of how simple materials can be used to make a wearable object. This bracelet was given to Carolyn by her brother-in-law, David Liu, during a visit to San Francisco.
