Yugoslavia Brooch

This roughly fashioned and fabricated brooch is a narrative unto itself. My mother’s parents were Serbian and Croatian-Czech, and she traveled with them, and with Robert, to Yugoslavia several times to visit family. Carolyn understood how her roots and the traditions of her parents’ countries played a role in her being, and her purchase of this brooch was a way of both honoring the artist who made it, and paying homage.
