A very interesting project recently emerged as the Racine, a major holder of the S.C. Johnson collection, made the decision to honor an exhibition sponsored by the Johnson company (maker of Johnson’s Wax among other products), and its accompanying publication from fifty years ago. “Objects Redux,” a series of three presentations in the museum’s galleries, showed works from the original “Objects: USA” that have been integrated into RAM’s permanent collection, among others that predate and postdate the show.
